Keeping More on Your Plate

We only buy the quantity of ingredients required to fill our customers’ orders each week, and pre-portion these so you only receive what's needed. We are proud to support the community through organisations like Foodbank & OzHarvest to make sure that any food surplus we have at our warehouse is donated to those who need it. Additionally, HelloFresh Group is committed to halve food waste by 2022.

The Real Weight of Food Waste

Every year, Australian households are responsible for 2.5 million tonnes of good food going to waste. To help Aussies understand the real weight of their food waste, we partnered with OzHarvest to design a vest that weighs 20kg – a physical reminder of how much food the average Aussie household wastes every month. We then put the vest to the test, challenging Brooke Jowett, trainer and sustainability advocate, to wear it for a day to feel the true weight of food waste.
