Cooking Steps

1
1

• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced. • Place potato fries on a lined oven tray. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, and toss to coat. • Bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.

TIP: If your oven tray is crowded, divide between two trays.

2
2

• Thinly slice tomato into rounds. • In a medium bowl, combine beef, peri-peri seasoning and a drizzle of olive oil.

TIP: If your beef rump is more than 4cm thick, cut in half horizontally before seasoning.

3
3

• When the fries have 10 minutes remaining, in a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over high heat. • Cook the beef, turning, for 4-6 minutes (depending on thickness), or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate to rest. • Meanwhile, halve bake-at-home burger buns and bake directly on a wire oven rack until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

4
4

• Spread mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce on the base of the burger buns, then top with Portuguese beef, tomato and mixed salad leaves. • Serve with potato fries. Enjoy!
