How do you peel prawns?
Preparing prawns for cooking is easier than you might think. First remove the head by twisting it. Secondly, remove the legs from the body starting from the top by peeling upwards. Whilst doing this you should be able to remove the upper part of the shell. Keep going until you reach the tail. To remove the tail of the prawn, pinch your fingers on the last part of the prawn shell and the prawn should release from it. Finally, the prawn will need to be deveined, you can do this by carefully running a knife along the back, and removing with your fingers. Whilst this may be a fiddly job, if you take your time it can be done easily!
